Japan's PCB production increased for five months in a row, soft board soared by 110%
 
 
 
According to Japan Electronics Packaging circuits According to the latest statistical data released by the Association (JPCA) (taking enterprises with more than 50 employees as statistical objects), in October 2015, the output of printed circuit boards (PCB; hard board + soft board + module substrate) in Japan increased by 10.8% to 1.336 million square meters compared with the same month last year, showing an increase for the fifth consecutive month; the output increased by 5.6% to 47.728 billion yen, showing an increase for the fifth consecutive month.
 
In terms of types, the output of Japanese rigid pcb in October fell by 11.0% to 852000 square meters compared with the same month last year, showing a decline for the third consecutive month; the output fell by 8.0% to 26.589 billion yen, showing a decline for the third consecutive month.
 
Flexible PCB production soared by 110.6% to 419000 square meters for the fifth consecutive month, and increased by 38.3% to 8.33 billion yen for the 14th consecutive month.
 
Compared with the same month last year, the output of module substrates increased by 28.0% to 64000 square meters, showing an increase for the 10th consecutive month; the output increased by 24.9% to 12.809 billion yen, showing an increase for the 18th consecutive month.
 
From January to October 2015, Japan's PCB production increased by 4.3% to 11.597 million square meters and 7.7% to 433.683 billion yen.
 
Among them, the output of soft boards and hard boards increased by 18% to 10.3942 billion yen, up to 10.3942 billion square meters.
